lol, man runnin torrents on his phone yes. alyuh evil beyond measure.

I tried that bywifi app and it gave bogus results.

doesn't work with chrome (boo) and even with IE, still got sputtering streaming, despite clicking accelerate 15 times.

Just sharing some information I gathered today.

Those wanting to downgrade their packages (like me) or upgrade as the case may be, you have to do so on the 15th when this madness goes into effect.

What you do is call 223-3569, ext 2002 to make your order after which your speed should be adjusted immediately.

I've been eye balling flow for a while and playing a lag ridden gameS last night cause it was an ALL trini sweat with a majority on FLOW and I on TSTT didn't help the situation... however it is troubling that there is a Flow STATUS thread, plus the horrors i've seen u guys post now and again... so the question I pose to you now FLOW users.... based on experience to date.... is it WORTH IT?

Hmm well pings fluctuate, recently though my connection has improved. I do know that I get my bandwidth speeds........the 1 Terabyte+ I downloaded over the past month shows that :p

I'm probably the only person here thinking about upgrading packages :p

Win I might be the closest to you (I'm in Palmiste) and I can tell you right now Flow is horrible. It used to have very low pings and I always got close to my rated speed but those days are long past. I kept my blink 256k as a backup. There are times I actually switch to the blink because it is better than my 10Mb Flow. I will definitely be downgrading my Flow.

The service is not perfect and I have had problems many times with lousy ping, but one thing I can say for sure is that I never went without a connection. That is more than I can say for TSTT when I had it.

Yup that is true. I've had my blink go down for 40 days straight only five months later to go down for 30 days again.

My 2Mb has been totally worth it thus far. I have only had to rebbot my modem once since I took on the service. Pings are quite good, and I get my advertised speed. What's not to like?

...AND I getting a super upgrade for only 10 dollars more per month?

still on the fence. just moved and must admit, flow impressed me with their response time.

They said a tech would come out on saturday and hook up the scene.

Promptly on Saturday, tech was in the place hooking up the scene.

Now comes the requisite speed tests and youtube streaming to see if they perform better here than in my old residence.

yeah, just got hooked back up

Flow made the decision to downgrade real easy though....cause I'm still not getting 1mb up with my 10mb/1mb connection.

Stuck with a wshb 10mb/256k.

So come July 15th, is heavy 5mb/256k immc.

Save a cool $100.00

on the plus side, at least the youtube streaming much better here. Though saturday @ 4PM ain't exactly primetime for a test. Will continue to monitor.
