If you were Mature administrators then you'd just move the topic accordingly rather than make a threat to delete the post.

Honestly dude, this should have gone in the "Announcements, Articles, Guides and Promotions" section as you would have noticed the Events section are for those aimed more directly towards gaming hence this description under the thread name: "About gaming events on the islands and beyond". Thought after being on the site this long you would've known that.

A simple pm to any of the mods/admins BEFORE you posted it would have been nice, but you fling it up anyway and your 'friend' gets the free exposure you both wanted...AND its in the wrong section.

Its for those reasons I wanted to delete it, but decided not to because it's not a regular occurence.

No need to act all butthurt about it.

Last I checked, this aint Facebook either.  Is your 'friend' going to promote GATT at his party?  Another legit question.

you know we support you a 100%. And GATT has always had a soft spot for anime and anime related events.

This shouldn't be a problem at all. Like the guys said, PM an admin and we can arrange to get a banner on the site to help advertise it rather than just a thread.

A lil heads up is all that is needed. Take the right approach and I can guarantee you will find a helping hand rather than a beat down.
