Here as some requirements:

3.5mm headset jack
Music buttons (next, play , etc.)
Good Size screen with good resolution.
Memory  card

doesnt have that headphone input but you can listen music via bluetooth headset...

Motorola V9, had it for a week so far...and well the screen is HUGE, both inside and outside..the outside screen has touch screen music and multimedia functions.

I think the 3.5mm headset jack would be vital, given how he would want to be able to connect 'standard' headsets to the phone...I'd be looking for the same if I wasn't willing to give up my E50...unless if anyone can get their hands on an Xpressmusic 5630 or thereabouts...
