IMDB says 2007 but the year almost done and it don't even have a trailer!

Hmmmmm. First one was a big flick IMO. I'm a fan. If there's another one coming out, I hope its as good as its predecessor.

Hmmm well I didn't see The Protector in it's Americanized edited form, but in it's original state, known as Tom Yum Goong. I liked it, but I can't say how it was different from the edited version since I didn't see that one (and have no intention to).

same here. haven't seen the protector, but the fight with lateef crowder was awesome imo.

What made protector good was the ridiculously long fight scene going up the hotel steps. That scene didn't have any cuts in it, twas one long flowing scene.Man had to have a good memory to remember all dat choreography.

I've got a copy of Ong Bak but never watched it...
Parents did say it was real good...

So I guess I'll dig it up and watch when I can...

I feel you have The Protector, but the video clubs just label it Ong Bak 2. Does the movie involve elephants?

Ok, this movie - acquired and watched it today.

Story - good enough excuse for a lot of violence =]

Fight sequences - Excellent. ESPECIALLY the one against a frikkin' clan of ninjas.

Problems - not enough fights.
the ending.

Overall great movie, only let down was that I was expecting a bit more but it was Jaa's directorial debut and he did a nice job.

geeez boi sniper. u eh bettin' yuh swift nah? i now done watch it too. pretty good fight scenes. not as good of a storyline. it was a decent movie, but the first one was better IMO.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't this film out since some time early last year?

I already have Chocolate on DVD since earlier this year and that is from the same original director I think staring a female version of Tony Jaa.
