Yup just checked got the upgrade to 4MB. Anyone know anyway to bypass the TSTT youtube throttling? Would going through a website proxy work?

Now on a related note, I just did a speedtest on TSTT's website, on a 1Mbit package, and got a dl of 1968 kpbs and and ul of 670 kbps.

So they've also doubled the 1MB now? Anyone else noticed this? I know this seems to be an accurate representation, because I was downloading 2 files @ over 100 KBps apiece.

Gaming still sucked @ss last night even though I was in a server in cod5 with pings of 108ms.....

that is not getting their act together
maybe they are at the level they should have been about 8 to 10 years ago.

They are not at 2009 level and even if they were, they should be aiming for 2020 level.

Yes I close to his area and it fricking sucks here as well.

Worse the problem I mentioned a while back that during peak hours downloads from Xbox Marketplace was slow it now seems during peak hours downloads from PSN slow as well. I have a 4mb connection yet I can only download 300mb an hour???

TSTT wtf you giving ppl higher speed packages if it only good to browse webpages faster??

As soon as flow reach I f#@kin done with TSTT.

People. Help me out. For the past 5 week I've had the absolute worst service from TSTT i.e. 10-30 minutes of uptime per day. I need to know who to consult/cuss/kill because this shit is ridiculous.

well i live in tobago, i haven't experienced the low pings as some of y'all. the only problem i have is the streaming videos problem, even megavideo now, i can't watch scrubs properly even!!!..

i get around 500-600kb/s from regular download sites, and around 450kb/s when downloading torrents, hope i don't experience any of those problems any time soon.

Didn't TSTT have a policy that your speed would be throttled back if you exceeded 2 GB of peer-to-peer data transfer (upload + download) during 'peak' hours?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

If that policy is still in effect, it might account for some of the issues being experienced by some of you.

I stand to be corrected on that also.
