Inspired by Arc and seeing the reduced ddr3 and x58 prices, I dont mind taking the plunge before the economy totally takes the plunge...

First item: Asus P5Q-E, needs no introduction, but for the initiated, check the link for specs. Rock solid overclocking beast. Supports up to 16gigs of ddr2 and is crossfire capable. This board was bought in August 2008 and comes with all accessories except the sticker. Those who know how I keep my stuff knows that they stay in the most pristine of conditions. Asking $1000

Next up is the venerable Q6600 g0 revision cpu aka slacr. One of the oldest quad cores around but still runs with the best, especially when overclocked. It's not lapped like Arc's own, however once paired with a decent cooler, it begs to be overclocked. Confirmed to run at 3.5ghz ROCK SOLID and 3.6ghz upwards, however, never fully tested stability at those speeds. I'm certain that it will have no problems, however. Bought August 2008 Asking $1200

Then we have the 4gigs (2x2gb) of DDR2 800mhz Corsair XMS2 memory. Easily and stably overclockable to 950mhz. Not much more to be said here...bought August 2008Asking $400

You can't beat these prices, even if you shipped the stuff in yourself. And for parts barely over 6 months old, you can't go wrong!
