Thinking about doing the CCNA

As the topic say, I am thinking about doing my CCNA exam i just wanted to know is it even worth , cause i have been reading about the web that its kind of not a big thing anymore, is that true?

the top 6 paying jobs in IT are all cisco certified jobs.
So .. yeah.. that has to say something, the 7th is MCSE (yay me)
CCNA is not childs play, do not waste your time if you do not have the stamina, discipline and resources for it and if your current career path gives you no easy route to getting paid for your expertise.

Consequently, two of the best cisco guys i know (also happen to be irritating linux noobs) never bothered to go classes for their knowledge.
So... yeah. If its your dream/goal then go for it.
ITs not like doing A+ over summer or anything like that.

thanks man i just finished doing Cisco 1 last semester so i was wondering if i should wait a bit. but think i start training right now.
