Tony Jaa vs. Donnie Yen
« on: February 16, 2009, 01:48:13 AM »
After watching Ong-Bak and Flash Point, I was wondering who would win in a fight.

Tony Jaa....or

Donnie Yen

My vote's on Tony :happy0203:
(queue Mortal Kombat theme)

I loved how donnie mixed it up stylewise in flashpoint from hand to hand to grappling to submission. Interesting matchup though.

LOL @ Crixx :laughing7:

If weapons are included, then my money is on Donnie.  His extensive repertoire of films will explain why.

Hand to hand...hmm, its a toss up.  I can't call that one, but still, Donnie seems so much more 'skilled'
than Tony.

I think, hand to hand, Tony would floor Donnie. his fighting style utilizes more raw power that Donnie's. as far as weapons go, I still wouldn't rule Tony out. after seeing Ong-Bak 1 and the trailer for the second movie, I think he'll hold his own.

strength alone cannot win young wan

but  i have never seen or heard of this other guy
muy thai is extremely hardmatic though, so it would be hard to count tony out but all a moot point as fedor would beat them both.. same time.. while watching gossip girl.. and taking fashion tips from Chuck Bass.

Crixx my boy, you'll be surprised just how many movies that you've seen that feature Donnie Yen.
He was even in Blade 2...remember the 'japanaese dude with the swords'?  He didnt last long though.  Shame.
His talents could have been used a LOT better in that film.
