Okay will look into it I don't think there are than many console gamers running BC2 question aren't the PS3 individuals and the 360 individuals only limited to play against others on the same console network?

Yes, but he was just talking about consoles in general. 360 or PS3...

Yeah...unfortunately, there's no cross-platform, inter-PC/XBL/PSN gaming for this.
But wouldn't that totally kick @$$ though?

What I meant by that was that by cross platform gaming, the pc players with mouse and keyboard would surely have an advantage over those playin with controllers on a console.

I think a pro with a keyboard and a mouse > a pro with a controller in FPS games.

It's like a samurai vs a fencer.

Both are good with their weapons but the samurai's sword is imba vs the fencer's pointy thingy.

ur thinkin not mine
i think it doesnt make a difference really
it all comes down to the players ability and not the weapon he is using...things like knowledge of the game, awareness, when to do what etc plays a bigger role in determining who is better

this is just my opinion tho but as far as player movement i find the keyboard horrible....mouse is great for aiming but keyboard is horrible for movement.

the frag fx actually imo combines the best of both sides...analog for movement and mouse for aiming.

this discussion cud go on an on till we both get old an die until we get hard evidence and this really isnt d thread for that lol

it is precisely the mouse (which as you say....is great for aiming) that gives the keyboard/mouse combo its superiority.

FPS on the consoles usually have to be dumbed down (hit detection / aim assist wise) to compensate.

and in my example, I used pro players...that is to say...they know the game, they know what to do, they are fully aware.

At that stage the man with the better tools will have the edge.

Some years ago, I put this to the test by beating veteran halo players in Halo while they used the gamepad and I used a keyboard/mouse via an adapter.

Lihixxx idmc.

I wasn't even pro at halo and was able to keep pace and even beat seasoned halo players, simply because of the keyboard / mouse advantage.

True story.

If you had given me a controller to use, the reverse would have happened. Lihixxxxxx immc.

Well, my views on this subject are well known, so I won't bother to re-hash, but I will say this...

There's a reason I spend more time playing games (especially FPS) on the PC.  :)

In Bad Company 2 news: I finally unlocked all weapons and gadgets for all classes.
That MG3 medic weapon is frighteningly  effective.  Damage not as vicious
as the M60, but LAWD!!!  The fire-rate is RIDICULOUS.  Still prefer the MG36 though,
with its built-in scope...so I can use that spec-tree to equip something else, like more
grenades, or the wider-radius healing kit.

u say veteran halo players but define veteran

just because they know how to shoot doh make them pro eh
do they know how to spawn trap in halo?
how the spawn system works?
do they know setups?
how to break setups?
if no they are not pro

most players in general when playing mp games dont know these things or take the time and arent willing to learn these things

they just pop in the game and run around

cod has lvl aim assist i not talkin bout bs games here
MAG has no aim assist, last i checked neither did socom
the games i play rarely have aim assist if at all

and as u speak of stats with mouse, i have a guy on MAG self who is using the frag fx and  he is good and my stats in my games rival his with ease most even better than what he puts up

no 2 players are equal, it still comes down to the player more and not the tools imo

those players u talk of arent that good if they just let u walk in an cut they ass which means if u HAD gotten accustomed to the controller u wudda still cut they ass.....i can tell u one time no PC man gonna just pick up kz2, r2, u2, MAG an expect to own me that padnas NOT happening.

u shudda been around when r2 was in order and see me with d snipe in my hands or see dvon or myself in pre n00b u2 with snipe
