Men actually bitching about the fact that there's no 'prone' position yes. :(

I actually applaud this move.  Having prone would make this game a supremely boring campfest.  ESPECIALLY for the snipers.

Very good point. I an all was vex that there wasn't a prone button, but as you said, this should make camping a lot harder.

Well, I just spent some proper time with the Xbox 360 version, and I must say...its every bit as fun as the PC, and PS3 version.

Is EA trying to steal my soul, as well as my wallet?  :laughing7:

...WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT.......I now watch that vid.  The sniper was standing ON TOP OF THE UAV IN MID-FLIGHT
when he took them shots... :awesome:

How de F@#K men does think these things UP!!?  :laughing7:

keep in mind a lot the console guys here (such as: w1ntry, redlum, agokillya, myself) are not 'new' to BF in anyway eh, will be nothing to switch from one to the other.. some us used to switch from Gears to Vegas2 to Halo 3 all the time.

EA earning my $$$ money this year, i still have to buy Dragon Age so i may end up buying at least 3 new EA titles this year (DA, BFBC2, ME2, and maybe Dante's Inferno)

was referring more to d ps3 men in general
i know d 360 community sweatin any everything is d ps3 community for this i worried bout
sorry for d confusion shudda put ps3 in d post

Arc and my self played till 1 am last night. (bout 5 hours)

goooooooooooood sweat! another local Wildchildtt jumped in after awhile.

chat works breathless over steam, bugs mostly sorted out (only friendlist and a few nitpicks here needs work)

and level experimentation with different tactics. If we get a full squad it wouldve been level havoc.

kinda ting that happened oui. wish I could record it.

I could understand why Blu_Vice made that comment.  I was playing with a pardner on the 360 version and one key comment he made was 'MW2 better...I find this game too damn SLOW'.  While I will admit the MW2's pace is a LOT faster, this game just has so much more to DO than the endless running around.

'Better' is subjective.  There will always be those that find this game is 's#!t'.  I pity them. :laughing7:

One thing I noticed right off the bat with the console players though, is an annoying tendency for them to not play as a team.
Case in point:  2 members of our squad would camp waaaaay in the back for the WHOLE round as snipers, just to, I dunno,
try to rack up stats I guess.  The point is, they were not helping the squad, far less the team, assault the objective in a meaningful way.
As a result, the opfor actually boxed our team in at the spawn area and almost kept the entire team at bay.  I'll attribute that to the
general suck factor of the team though, but you get my point.

Other annoyances include players who CANNOT fly the choppers, always camping the damn helipad.  I can count ONE hand, the number of times I actually got
to fly the damn chopper.  One particularly nasty tactic that needs 'nerfing' involves players on the attacking team attaching C4 to an ATV,
driving right up to the MCOM crates and then detonating the C4, blowing up the crates INSTANTLY, virtually eliminating the tug-o-war of arm/disarm.
That one needs to be fixed, or else, some games could become annoyingly one-sided.

...and again, I cannot stress how important COMMUNICATION is.  One thing I noticed with the Xbox version: there's no team chat channel.
Sure, I can join a party, and all of us can go into the game and chat, but what if we end up in different squads?  On the PS3 version, once you join a squad
you can communicate directly with all other suad members.  XBL needs to fix that one.  It may not seem like a big issue, but I could not communicate
with the other members of the squad.  Only the members of my party.

As Berserker said, once the friends list is sorted, and we can arrange a proper squad, with team chat via Steam, it is then that this game
can truly shine.

Cap, where were you? We saw you sign on to Steam around 10pm and messaged you like crazy to join.  You miss out.

@ arc 100% agree
i notice that trend in almost EVERY ps3 game i play
an jus recently in MAG
thing is we hav 2 points to secure i'm squad leader and half my team is snipers and wannabe ones at that i had to b beggin men to push up and it only had 3 guys at d point defending.

men hadda get out that cod mentality where they believe kdr = talent
camping for kills in an objective game makes 0 sense
and the lack of mics in ps3 games rel annoyin, i still tryin to comprehend WHY wud some1 buy an online team based game an NOT want to use a mic

i could relate to the vehicle camping issue, went through it more than enough times with BF Vietnam, but it eventually sorted itself out.

the ps3 men will adapt as well, all it takes is for you to have a group of friends playing the game online and you must want to learn

i agree but the thing is most dont wanna learn on ps3
they jump in a game an get off to a rough start an automatically d game is shi!t
jus 2days ago a trini tell me MAG is sh!t so i ask why an he cud not give me a valid response all he said was dat he keep gettin shot in d back and he find d game n00by lol

i dont really hav high hopes for the ps3 community for this or many online games tbh
ppl like woody, apprentice, suki and a few others u can generally count on to switch up they games an play new 1s and actually learn it but most wud jus keep to the usual 2 games a year CoD & FIFA/PES
