R16 SERVER UPDATE

- Rubber banding / lag issues fixed. This was caused by ServerAdminLogs 'flushing' after each entry.
- Infantry only now available on Ranked Servers (not fully tested.) To enable INF only, add 'levelVars.set all vehiclesDisabled true' to your Startup.txt.
- Bugfixed: banList.remove command (it would hang the server.)
- Bugfixed: Setting a long ServerDescription could make the server stop with an error.

all servers will be update to R16 by Sunday, 4th at 5am BST  (assuming no issues are found.)

Found out was cause the gatt server to lag it the admins tool dice say to close all admin tool unless you really need them

Yup i know but the new update made it worst than before.Hopefully this server update that coming should fix the problem.


Btw a bug was found if you reinstall your bc2 and update you will have bugs from the retail version from some reason

maps look great but i won't be holding my breath for them.

on another note, i wish i was recording my gameplay yesterday although i never do.

i was attacking in port valdez at the start. i was parachuting down as a sniper and wondered if i could shoot anyone before i landed.

i pressed 'q' and the red triangle appeared on an enemy who was at the 3 storey building at the back of B. i gave it a shot and in one try (which was all i had), i got the headshot.that had to be my best snipeshot in bad company2.

yeah it sounds boring cause i gots no video to back it up

Bad company 2 update:

A DICE employee on the bc2 forum released an announcement saying that the 'map pack' 3 was released yesterday

the 'map/mode' pack 3 didn't affect me because i don't play squad rush and sqaud deathmatch currrently. the map/mode pack 4 is good for a change in my opinion because Atacama Desert and port valdez are two exciting maps imo so the new modes will be an exciting change.

 i don't think ea will want dice to bring out NEW map. instead they would make people buy Vietnam to play the new stuff

Edit: DICE community manager confirmed that new maps will be available when BC2: Vietnam comes out
