well done arc, well done.

Yeah, having all the kit unlocked gives you options galore when it comes to virtual man slaughter.

The diversity is mind boggling.

So many ways to kill a man, choose one.

For Scrutiny, here are some of my popular kit selections:

General Run and Gun:

Assault: M16 -> M1911 -> 40mmgl -> Grenade Vest -> Magnum Ammo -> Alternate Weapon Fire

Tank Busting:

Recon: VSS -> M1911 -> C4 -> Motion Sensor -> AMMO HIP BANDOLIER -> Magnum Ammo -> Alternate Weapon Fire

Wonton Pwnage:

Engineer: UMP 45 -> M1911 -> Uncle Carl  -> Explosive Leg Pouch -> IMPROVED DEMOLITIONS -> Alternate Weapon Fire

With the medic class I'm still torn between the M60 and the MG36. Will figure out which kit I like best in that class in the coming weeks.

@blu_vice

Veteran = seasoned players of Halo. They were among the best players in the game that I knew at the time. Only two guys I could think of were better than them, Xen and Jose.

Just as I am a veteran at other FPS games (quake 3, battlefield, sof2), having played them for countless hours and considered among the best (say top 20) in gatt. It's hardly an exact science but that is the definition I used in saying they were veterans.

http://www.xpadder.com/

Check that link out and bring your PS3 controller into the battlefield. Let's see how you fare without some aim assist console noobishness on your side against "pro"s running the superior keyboard and mouse combo.

Do that, and you win this argument hands down!

yeah, that ump45 is wshb.

Didn't impress me much but most of the kills with Engineer come from the gustav, lol

what would you recommend as primary weapon for the Engineer class though?  The AK?

no, not all...I don't think Tekken 6 has aim assist.

my argument is this: keyboard & mouse > controller for FPS games. full stop.

Bring your controller, get http://www.xpadder.com/ and play us in Battlefield on the PC. Let's see if you'll last 5 minutes.

In other news, we just had an official match with Venezuela. Lihixxxxxxxxxx iwmc.

They are known as FAV: Short for the Virtual Armed Forces of Venezuela.

Game Type: Conquest 6v6

Score:
Venezuela: 4
Trinidad: 0

Now that we have conquered the bajans, we meet another foe that is even more of a challenge.

This was an away game, on their server.

Hopefully we will fare better when the battle is on GATT turf.

They've been at battlefield for sometime...but we're not exactly noobs either, lol.

Will post the detailed match scores tomorrow. need...sleep....

I am a console gamer, last pc game i played was either Plants vs Zombies or Torchlight... prior to this i spent a lot of time on the older PC shooters such as UT, SOF2, BF1942, MOHAA, COD etc... for the past few years all my FPS gaming has been on consoles (MW2, Halo3, Fear, BF1943 etc). I prefer consoles for several reasons which i won't get into, but really and truly a Keyboard and Mouse combo cannot be matched for speed/options/accuracy in FPS gaming.

I am in agreement with you there yes

well said larutus, well said.

bloodlust boy, we have to give jack his jacket. Those vene soldiers were on top of their game.

Apparently they play in TWL and are veterans of the battlefield franchise. They brought out Uncle Carl from game 1. Monopolized the high ground. Moved like a team. Swear we were fighting twelve men, not six. lol

We didn't have our star player, triniblocker...so who knows...maybe with our squad at full strength, the result will be different.

Let me get to those scores so we can see a little more detail on the match result.

lol @ uncle carl professionals. indeed!

A taste of our own medicine yes. Who Gustav last Gustav best.

In the first result, Redfish's score was very low because he came in as a substitute for Kriminalkl whose machine spontaneously rebooted on him during the match.

As you can see, everyone put in a good fight. No .25 KDRs to be seen. The venez were just the better players (this time)

One thing I hadda add is a big props to mih boy berserk, it is not represented in the scores but when we were
running together it was butter in de start we were holding flags by ourself most of de times, (kriminal wasnt on mumble
so he didnt know what was going on) de man seriously had mih back and saved mih scalp a good bit ah times, we kept 4 of their 6 members on their toes for a very long time, when Redfish was added into de mix things started to flow.

But dat White Pass map is good for a team like dem, on top ah roof, on mountain dey had rocket flyin in from every single direction.

lol @ gustav inspired nightmares.

when I ran with the 40mm, only 10 vene heads I managed to bag when the round was over.

the next round when it was pure Uncle Carl idmc, netted 22 of the spanish speaking gundileros.

Must admit....that rocket launcher is BRUTAL. No hiding from it's blast radius yes. Tanks needs not apply. The splash damage killing engineers who trying to repair their armor and all.

Advantageous.
