So yea, I went to see Gi Joe yesterday, and I must say that I was not disappointed...I didn't go in with any expectations, but I came out feeling as though it was good enough for a "YO JOE!!"
The action was there, every action scene was good enough that I was saying WOW on several occassions. They did some good CG work with the Sigma 6 suits and the chase scene was great. The story could have been a bit stronger, but I can't really say that it was BAD. I got my money worth in action and I would definitely buy it on BluRay when it comes out, so I can watch it at home on the 55" plasma and sit back and watch Baroness again...LOL She was HOT and sweaty in the movie...WOWEEE...Anyways, that's just my two cents...would I recommend it? the Answer is YES. I can now relax and say that my childhood memories of GiJoe are still safe...LOL Enjoy peeps!

Not saying anything about Joe til I see it...

However @ opening weekend:

Lots of marketing. Just look at the number of TV Spots Archer posted.
+ No competition on opening day.
+ existing GI Joe fanbase.

No surprise really.

I heading up on Saturday, Can't make ne early show on Weds and the nite will have traffic with the football and what not. From what i've read the movie definitely boasts some great action scenes.

Yeah this movie was ok. Decent action throughout. There are some cheesy moments here and there but nothing to ruin the movie. A movie based on a toy done right.

7/10 Overall...nice fun ride.

Ok i jus came back from seeing it and i was not disappointed. Wild action, cheesy but not too cheesy. Yea CGI was a bit off some times but did not disturb me much and the story was simple but good enough 8.5/10 for me also

Loved the ending scene *Archer whistles for he's a jolly good fellow*
