Some thoughts for ALL to reflect on

In my short time being here on gatt I have gained a great deal of knowledge on PCs. It was also great to have info on games, GPUs etc.

The thing I noticed was sadly alot of flak coming from just a couple "know it alls" when I or another "noob" posted a simple question whether it be advice on new hardware or troubleshooting problems.

I am only 23yrs old but it really sickens me to see the level of maturity being displayed by odler heads, be it Mods or folks higher up the age bracket.

My intention in life is to always aspire to learn more no matter how much I think I know. I do not know everything and will never know everything but it is with much pleasure to share what I do know to those in need.

Sadly some take this as an opportunity to bash/insult individuals whether old or new members resulting in them leaving or just not bothering to post anything at all.

I have monitored many stupid arguments on this forum which were uncalled for and had me thinking of just leaving this forum to avoid any crap.

With all that said I intend to help contribute POSITIVELY to the development of fellow gatters in whatever topic that is brought up in a thread.

Insulting people because you think you are a PC God does nothing for your character or level of maturity.


Note: This is directed to everyone on this forum including myself and I hope after reading it you will reply showing your commitment to a healthy Gatt forum for 2009 and beyond thanks..

Honestly I can understand a little bashing. WHY? cause it makes people learn faster and adapt to things being nice doesn't always get you somewhere and we all know that,as for the major bashing well meh..I cant say I have not been a victim/culprit of this but if its one thing good post ppl must stop the overbearing flaming.

@Kaizen I agree with you, if you ask a dumb question by all means you looking for flak but I was directing it to silly responses made on sensible inquiries lol
