This seems to be shaping up to be one of the best in the series. I checked out the opening vid on gamespot, and it looks like an overhauled version of most wanted.

What i am looking forward to is the same driving mechanics from pro street. A more simulated approach to street racing over the arcade style cartoon crap they did back in carbon. And the visual effects looks pretty stunning for a racing game from ea (come on they are certainly no codemasters, but they were working on a year development cycle).
I think with the new two year cycle, and if the listen to the fans and stop doing what they bloody well want, their is alot of hope for the need for speed series.

Honestly, if funds permitted, i would have pre-ordered this one. Might have to tap into my super secret, super restricted, super exclusive site to get this one as it hits the scene. Next to GTA 4, POP and COD5, this was my most anticipated title of the year.

Give it a chance. EA might surprise us yet.

my word,is this game a total failure,it got 4/10 on ign for the ps3 ver,and the xbox 360 got 5/10,apparantly it's the same engine from the last nfs game.

apparently, only the RELOADED version's good. the other versions have been nuked.  the poor performance is probably due to those versions being emulations.

Sorry for the late response. It was nice to actually play the game. Grab the rld crack only and you're good to go. (don't forget to restore the old paul file).

The game isn't that bad once you get into it. Although, I have no idea whats going on story wise, gameplay wise i am having fun. But it is still missing the in depth tuning that nfsu2 had.
