Ok just came out a meeting where part of the agenda was the health week for The Business Development Company as well as their OLE Years Lime.

First i suggested getting two Wii with Wii sports and Wii fit for the closing day of the Health week, which would be on Friday 28th November
THen i suggested for the ole years lime on ole years day, we have two Wii set up again with Wii boxing and Wii Sports to have a very lively session.

THey think its a fantastic idea and asked me to handle the plans, and i told them that GATT has a project team that i can contact and have them make arrangements.

So what you guys think? Can we deliver, this is a fantastic oppurtunity for us and actually could be a big win for Trini gaming and maybe even the formation of a GATT entertainment company to handle this kind of thing for other businesses in the future??

If necessary, we could pull from membership, those who have good working Wii with games to rent their systems and we handle the setup and general selling of our services.

I've got a wii and wii sports, count me in.

We can talk to one of our previous sponsors to get more Wii kit as a promotional opportunity for them as well.

What sort of time frame we looking at? What kind of price are we gonna charge for this?

Think it's a great opp indeed.

also iam thinking maybe even the wii music thing for the ole years lime

today and tomorrow ill have to talk to the managers again about exact dates and what price range

the ole years lime is of course on ole years day
but the health week, iam not sure , they changed the last date so ill let yall know

hmm i have wii music also. It not bad at all. AND its neat if you have 4 ppl playing at once! Mad fun. Though it's not as pick up and play as you may think.

only have 2 motes and numchucks (one remote gives trouble sometimes)

ok update folks
the date slated for the Wii fest is Friday 13th (wow lol) March starting from 3 pm

Slated is two Wiis with wii boxing and wii fit or just two wii sports and a ps2 with DDR 2 and dance mat has now been requested, maybe 2 DDR2 we will see.

We have 2 projectors already for the Wii boxing and maybe we could use the Flat screen tv for the DDR2, ill see if it can be dismounted easily.

So iam hoping we can get our gears together by that time right?

i was just wondering about the use of projector for the wiis

the motion capture device is usually placed ontop of the tv right
so will that be a problem in the case of the projector where the motion detector cant be placed above the screen or wall? We will need to work something out
also, do we have access to a ps2 or 2 with ddr2 AND dance mat??

the sensor bar can go on both top or bottom of the display. Shouldn't be a problem.

spoke to daemon, he can commit 1 ps2 1 ddr extreme and 1 soft mat to the operation on
friday.

So we on.

He has a friend that can also link some hard core gun metal mat with neon strobe lights and chain lightning effects but that will come at considerable cost, lol

ok guys just gotta say much Kudos to everyone involved, everything went great on our part, and the event, though small was very very well enjoyed by staff.

Must say Daemon's setup was stellar, song selections for young and old was very well appreciated.

On the Wii front, the boxing only appealed to the men, as every single female walked away stating they dont understand how to play.. go figures, probably never watched a day of fighting in their lives.

BUTT the wii tennis was loads of fun and well appreciated, especially the 4 man games.

Lessons learnt coming out of it.
For future endeavors, i was asked by my manager if we could have recorded scores on the ddr to see who did the best and therefore could offer prizes and stuff for competition esque gaming.
Would also apply to the tennis, both singles and doubles, see what teams won the most and what singles won the most.
Lastly, generating hype for the event was mostly done on my part, sending out emails and running around trying to get people to come. So in the future, for other companies and or events, we could make up flies and other promotional material for the companies to use as hype propaganda and ensure voter padded turnout.

So once again, great job guys and sorry we couldnt make arrangements kiya, would have been great to have a girl to get them more hyped in the gaming, but the women really really enjoyed the ddr.

Oh an dont forget the invoice baego face.
