Disposal of derelict computer (parts) and electronics
« on: September 24, 2008, 04:04:45 PM »
Over the years being a PC tech I have allowed old parts to collect in my house to the point where it is becoming an eyesore.

Some comes from customers who bring their computers to me and never come back for it when I condemn it or give them the bill

or

...from condemned parts I replaced that I never bothered to dispose of or return to the customer one time.

I can dispose of all on one shot with one pickup.

I hear you can't just dump electronics anymore, so I am looking for any proper inexpensive methods for such.

Suggestions anyone?

Had to throw out a monitor the other day , Gov really should have systems in place to take care of  potentially hazardous waste ... for free.
