This is nothing short of amazing. How recently that was and simultaneously how far away that is.

Ill always remember my first video card. A Voodoo3 3500, with tv tuner integrated and a 16mb framebuffer and freaking unreal tournament breathless. Those were the mof***in days.

Hmm...my virst Nvidia card was the Vanta, that ran Quake III real nice :D.

My first video card would be a Trident 1MB VLB video card though, good times, couldn't run Doom properly....

Well, I didn't build a 'serious' gaming PC till 2003, and even then, my first
card was a lowly GeForce FX5200 128 MB.  I thought (foolishly ) that it was
the shiznit, until I saw a pardner running a FX5950 (on UT2004) at a LAN-party.

I think a part of me curled up and died when I saw that right then..... :ko:

My first video card was a GeForce MX440, VIA KT333 was the chipest of choice at the time

The next was a GF 5900XT that i worked well for years, (i think RB have that now)

Had an Radeon 9600 somewhere in between

Youngons... my first nvidia solution was an 8MB onboard RIVA 128
Second was a Geforce 3 Ti200
I still have the Ti200 working in a good old faithful PC home. The RIVA Z128 is also still alive and kicking in a simple office PC.

I moved onto *coughs* redder pastures subsequent (in the form of a Radeon 9600, 9800Pro, X800XT AIW and 1900XT), but now am sporting a GREEN Geforce 8800GT.
