Up until this week this has been my HSF of choice for my main rig.

6 months old.  Great condition.  Can handle anything you throw at it.  Any CPU, any OC.
Replaced it with something that can mount 2 fans in push-pull without hassle.

Nice cooler, but this one pwns them all. HDT/direct core contact is the $hit, man. This baby is already on its way to me to handle up the quad core real nice.

nah not hard, yuh gonna have to do some research though as it's your first aftermarket...especially on if it will fit your board or obstruct anything...provide details on yuh system and arcman could clarify...case in point. my hsf passes very closely to the top of one of my memory banks, not enough to cause trouble but enough for it to be a prob if i need to drop in mem later

i have a asrock AM2NF6G-VSTA board with a sempron 2800+ upgrading to a athlon 64 x2 4000 processor.i think i'll also have to get a new psu lol have a 250 W right now  yea and i'm using all the ram slots....

It will most certainly work with your board, as there are no large on-board heatsinks to get in the way.
The installation is not hard, and your mobo is AM2, so you wont even have to remove it.  Just attach the AM2
bracket to the main HSF and clamp it onto the exising AM2 bracket on the board.

Don't worry, the manual is very detailed.

And for $45 us u could have gotten the best air cooler available. See this is why you should consult moi before making your purchasing decisions.
