Well, while the setup I described works for flow, it works for TSTT as well, without having to worry about setting static IP addresses for your machines. Correct me if i'm wrong, but when I had blink, a direct connection to the internet port did the trick.

yeah it would.

it would be 2 networks vs. the 1 i had suggested, a branch within a larger one if you will, i.e. everybody in the same branch. i think it would require less config too so it would be easier for the less technical to install.

I should note that some routers have the 'internet port' labeled WAN, just some extra info (Dlinks i think have them like this)
