Attention Dattebayo fans,

Effective immediately, we are terminating our subtitling efforts on the "Naruto Shippuuden". This decision is not up for discussion and not negotiable. You can guess why this is happening, and no, there is nothing you can do about it as there will always be assholes who want to piss in the pot so to speak.

It was a difficult decision, but it had to be done.

It's been a fun 4 years!

I am fully aware of their pranks. But the issues they raised are valid ones.

You obviously didn't read the part of the thread topic i put in brackets.

If it is true you can't blame them. If not well let the subbing/torrenting continue.


EDIT: I will note that Shipuuden Episodes 65 and older are NOT downloading via torrent

I read it. Just like I read the announcement when they made it and immediately dismissed it.
DB loves the attention. And coincidentally they only announce they will "stop subbing Naruto/Bleach/whatever" on a week where there's no new episode anyway.

There's really no point even acknowledging their antics.

I still maintain that they could have just as easily been dead serious this time around, given the reason expressed, and really stopped.

I've no doubt that their expressed reasons could eventually become real reasons for stopping. However it's generally a dead giveaway when they do this the week that no new episode airs.
When they actually do this the week a new episode drops, then I'd give it a second thought.
