Ok then well it seems like they doing it backward with you, just have to wait for them to activate dey ting in the main office.

If I remember correctly was only light that was blinking on mine (think it was the ds or link light) and everything else was solid, other peeps with they flow modem would be able to confirm.

Just wait man, if they taking too long call them back and see what's the hold up.

Just remember that little reset button on the back of the modem if your best friend but I suggest you wait the time they told you b4 going crazy on the resetting

Well I have gotten the connection...
Called them and they got it activated in a couple hours...

Enjoying me 6megabit speed

But the ping is what I'm concerned bout.

Some people tell me I supposed to get pings like around 100 oversees to miami and such.
But when i do the test I get updwards of 400 to miami, sometimes a bit less.
500 + to new york etc...
The ping to Flow's server in P-O-S seems also bad at 45-60ms.
And to blink's server I get 110ms most of the time.

I know there are ways in which ping can be optimised locally with the router (mine is a linksys wrt300n)..But I don't really know anything on that front...

So to you flow users..these pings normal or something wrong?

Yea Gulf View area has been digitalised...
Soon Flow will call and say they coming to set up the digital cable...
Then afterwards you can apply for the internet.

You could try and call early and tell them your address..and possibly if your area digital ready you might get the setup earlier.

I've also read somewhere that people with 2megabit connections are getting letters from flow stating that they will be upgraded to 4megabits free of charge..
And pay the same $189 rate...

Dunno how true it is..

Thats why I taking this with a grain of salt. I've been hearing rumors of them going digital about 2 years now. Heck I applied for a analog cable box in February 2005 and every few months I follow up on it and the response is always there are no boxes in stock.

Ok is it only me... Vistabella flow finally reached... BUT MY MODEM IS NOT CONNECTING

... was told that the entire sando area is suffering problems... The lights for uplink and then downlink blinking but never going online as well as the Link light is not lighted... IS it my box bad as the book says the link light should be showing??
