New Information on Suspect Who Cut a Baby Out of Woman's WombPosted: July 1, 2008 09:49 PMUpdated: July 2, 2008 01:01 PMVideo Gallery<1>New Information on Kennewick Murder Suspect2:19KENNEWICK, Wash-- The suspect who cut a baby out of a woman's womb and murdered her will be arraigned tomorrow.Last Friday twenty-three year-old, Phiengchai Sisouvanh, was arrested and is charged with first degree murder for fatally stabbing Pasco resident, Araceli Camacho Gomez, and cutting her baby boy out of her womb.Kennewick detectives said Sisouvanh told her husband she was pregnant and about to have a baby. She also told friends she was three weeks away from giving birth."She told me 'guess what I'm nine months pregnant' and I was like congratulations," said a friend of Sisouvanh.Sisouvanh works at a local nursing home and had a Nursing Assistant Certificate from 2005 to 2007, which is now expired. She graduated from Southridge High School in 2004 and lived on West 5th St. in Kennewick with her parents and her husband."They kept to their own-selves and didn't do anything wrong," said a neighbor who has an in-home childcare center.The neighbor only spoke to Sisouvanh once, but she wanted to know prices for hourly childcare."She came over and asked me about what ages I took care of and how much it would cost for an infant or a one year old," said the neighbor.We also learned that Sisouvanh attended the Lao Buddhist Temple in Kennewick and told friends at the temple she was expecting a baby. Sisouvahn and her family are known by several Laotians living in Kennewick and are active at the Buddhist Temple.Detectives said they are not pursuing Sisouvanh's husband, Keun Synhavong, as a suspect, but at this time they do not no where he is.
