yeah optimus earn his name in this picture

I still find a lot of things were WAYYYY overdone. (since this look like it turn into the spoiler thread, gonna comment on them here)

/rant

As you said, too much human involvment. WTMC??? the all spark going into a human? STEUPS. More excuse to keep them integral to the plot and not killed on site. rubbish

Too much comedy. I don't mind the odd wise crack and chuckle but they used cheap slapstick comedy way too much.

Those twin robots, could have been eliminated altogether. The mother, way overdone with the weed brownies and other shinanigans.

Bumblebee was way too emo for an asskicking robot.

What was up with that decepticon impersonating a female student and making out with sam? Totally unnecessary.

The stupid decepticon humping meagan's leg. sexual innuendo and wise cracks galore.

The old decepticon, while cool, still had too much of a "comic relief" feel to him.

Ditto with the "testicles" joke in the end. You wouldn't think the fate of the planet stood in the balance with all this goofing around.

Didn't like how starscream was done. Better could have been done with the relationship between him and megatron.

Too much of a good thing. The movie felt too long and that's not good. Didn't leave me wanting for more.

Zero plot. (why would 5 primes sacrifice themselves to keep the matrix key from the fallen? last I checked, 5 v 1 is pretty good odds. Why not just kill the mc?)

End battle was steups.

7 out of 10 (All 7 for action and epic robot warfare)

/end rant

Noob as I said earlier I had some issues with it as well but overall I still really enjoyed it.

I thought I just add in some stuff to your list that brought down the movie.

- really unecessary comedy - the two dogs humping, Jet Fire needing a walking stick, almost every line from the twins, every scene with his parents could have been cut out
- Bumblebee in two years still can't talk???? WTF?? I mean we have software that read text on PCs and the autobots can't fix a voicebox?
- Should have had the constructions fight as separate robots first, take some licks and then come back as deconstructor instead of just going straight to forming him
- the first half hour was badly paced, it was only after the decepticon chick was chasing them that the movie picked up
- Prime dead body seemed to not stir enough emotion from the rest of the autobots
- Apart from the twins there was barely any dialogue from the rest of the autobots
- They need to color code all the decipticons, it really hard to tell which is which in the middle of a fight
- Optimus hunting down and killing a wounded Decepticon who is surrounded and outnumbered without giving him the option to surrender didn't really feel too heroic

Inspite of these issues I'd say it was a 9/10 for me, maybe I'm just too much of junkie for fighting robots. The fight scene with Optimus was more than worth my money.

Well, I understand that they couldn't kill the Fallen because he was a Prime too. A fallen Prime but a Prime nonetheless.

To me, Bumblebee's voice got fixed at the end of pt 1... wtf? Anyway, substituting music and soundbites for words was the shiznit. LMAO @ "Your cheatin' heart..."

Whatever yes... I still screamed like a white girl in the 90's when Mmmm-Bop was big.

I agree with everything Eroo and Noob said. I just saw it tonight, and despite its flaws, I enjoyed it. I actually thought the movie had (believe it or not) too much action though. Or too much explosions to be precise. I was left kinda tired after it was done. Lets hope that if they make a third film, they'd spend a bit more time on the story, and not the pyrotechnics. 7/10's my score.

lol,  yeah rage. I heard a lot of people say that yes, too much action (is there such a thing???)

Q, so they can't kill 1 prime, but they can kill 5??? (themselves)

I still think killing The Fallen would be better than all the rest committing seppuku.

And Bay was accusing Terminator of ripping off Transformers because it also had huge robots? Wow, Michael Bay, wow. You're the man.

alright. I went again to see the movie away from a hype crowd so i could inspect it further.

The comedic "relief" was funny for a while but became EXTREMELY annoying rather quickly.
The ending fight scene finished too quickly. There could have been more than what happened. Actually, the majority of the fight scenes were really short for me.
Bumblebee was a bit off in this movie as compared to the last one. He's supposed to be more fight and less run as far as im concerned.
What happened to the twins? Did they die?

Still after all this i think the movie deserves atleast an 8 outta 10 for being very entertaining on many different levels.
Guess who's back. Not me. :|

they can resurrect whole autobots and decepticons but can't fix bumblebee's voice? steups.

laertes, I dunno, the interaction between starscream and megatron just didn't have the impact it did back in the cartoon. Granted, they only had a couple hours to play with and that may explain the lack of effect. The cartoon had hundred of hours to develop their relationship.
