Guys, this is a great film being overshadowed by Iron Man and Indiana Jones right now...

Saw it today..
Man this film was GREAT.... Its in my list of fave movies of all time..
This one was much more on a mature level...Despite its PG rating... LOTS AND LOTS OF ACTION...

And that ending battle sequence was flippin AWESOME!

I know many of ya'll think Narnia is a childish sort of franchise...but I tell ya, If you've seen the first one give this one a shot...

My mom didn't like the 1st at all..
She watched this film with me + my dad and we all agree it was an impressive film.

Acting was really really good...
CGI WAS AMAZINGLY REAL...

And there's the comic relief throughout the film...
Pretty much you walkout of there feeling happyafter seeing a top notch fantasy film.

Just so sorry it isn't doing as well as it should...
Disney should have launched it Christmas time rather than this May month...

lotr + jesus complex = narnia

the first movie wasnt bad, a kiddy version of lotr , fine enuff

this movie, they just straight ripped off scenes from lotr

AND THENNN they went and over do the azlan= jesus thing

like seriously

the best part of the movie was the ending music
that was really nice

it just wasnt very nice to ripoff lotr that hard

Yes I sw the very striking similarities...
But what the hell...

It was awesome no doubt about it....
So despite that...I still loved the movie


@ laertes... It can totally be agreed that the movie is executed way better than the book.
Well the book was much more toned down to appeal to that of a child reader... they changed that up and this film was like a real epic.

Are the battle scenes similar to the first one? i.e. did it have that funny cheezy feeling to them?

well dont know how old lewis is, but tolkien was like MEGA old...

the fight scenes were that cheezy... because they ripped them STRAIGHT OUT OF LOTR!!!

about the jesus references, as i said, its well known but i merely stated that it was over done in this movie, its a lion lets not forget.


Secondly, i wasnt referring to tolkien's books! i was referring to the scenes from the lotr MOVIES!!

even though there were similarities in the books, they could have executed the effects DIFFERENTLY!
but they ended up just blatantly COPYING the effects of the movie, and admittedly, not as epicly as was done in the lotr movies.
