Brand matters if you are trying to lower temps as much as possible .

Honestly , any old goo will do , performance differences won't even be noticed unless you are overclocking and overvolting .

This guy tested using VEGETABLE PASTE on his cpu , and it worked quite well.. http://www.dansdata.com/goop.htm
