if when u join d hamchi server, any of d peers have a blue arrow, u go have to do 1 port foward, d link on d first post of d thread :)

actualy i just checked the link, and it leads u to a support page, so u go have to search fuh blue arrow.
but in any event, u only need to do that if any peer have blue arrow.

ill include d actual instructions on d first post, but for now.

all u need to do is:

hamachi preferecnes->status tab->detailed configuraiotn:

set udp to 12345.

and map dat to your ip address from yuh router.

yeah ah did see ah man them days ago with ah blue arrow, but the link taking me to a FAQ, it doh think it link to the question you had in mind...i believe this is what you were linking too...

Quote
What does the yellow / cyan (blue) status indicator in LogMeIn Hamachi mean?

Yellow or cyan status means that Hamachi cannot establish direct peer to peer tunnel between you and respective peer. This is not a bug, but rather an artifact of core Hamachi technology that occurs roughly in 3-5% of all cases.

The underlying reason is in a combination of NAT/router/firewall devices on both ends. Therefore you may see cases when for A, B and C peers, A can talk to B, B can talk to C, but A cannot talk to C.

The steps below will allow you to overcome this issue. Please ensure you have the latest version of Hamachi before proceeding.

Option #1 - Port Forwarding

Select some UDP port, say, 12345

Forward this port from the network interface on your router that hooks up to the Internet to the machine that is running Hamachi.

Information on port forwarding for your specific router can be found at http://portforward.com

Open Hamachi Preferences, go to Detailed Configuration, and set the UDP port to 12345.

Reconnect Hamachi

What this option does is it forces Hamachi to use the specified UDP port as a local port for all its peer to peer traffic.

Option #2 - (if not already on Premium or a trial)

Upgrade to a Premium account and our system will take care of relaying
the traffic between you and other people when no direct connectivity is
available.

The traffic between you and your peers will remain encrypted end-to-end, and it will possess all cryptographic protection properties of a direct peer to peer connection. The only thing that will change is that it will be sent via 3rd network node - a relay - that is accessible from both peers.

We maintain a number of relays and whenever the tunnel is being setup, the system will select the one that delivers fastest possible transmission.

When the tunnel is relayed, you will see a peer marked with a blue status
indicator instead of a green one.

For more information on Premium accounts check out - http://premium.hamachi.cc

if it is, i guess you can just add it to a little FAQ of your own, ya?

EDIT lol aight

but here this, the page source for the faq question is this : https://na1.salesforce.com/_ui/selfservice/pkb/PublicKnowledgeSolution/d?orgId=00D300000006VGf&id=50130000000GSQU&retURL=%2Fsol%2Fpublic%2Fsolutionbrowser.jsp%3Fsearch%3Dblue%2Barrow%26cid%3D02n30000000DBsn%26orgId%3D00D300000006VGf%26t%3D4&ps=1

already took the liberty to add it in with your addition as well, i left both because it's enough for experienced uses to see UDP and know is a port fwd we talking bout, not-so-technically-inclined users may need the full reference doc

would be nice if both of us could have updated the thread.. i wonder when such manna will fall from the heavens..

--==FOR XFIRE USERS, PLEASE ADD THE FOLLOWING SERVER ADDRESS TO YOUR FAVORITES==--

Server IP: 5.106.167.80
Port: 7777

This will allow you to connect to the hamachi server via Xfire to the unreal tournament sweat. It has only been tested on Unreal Tournament, we will experiment with other games to certify the process. Most likely, we expect it to work. messiah will update the main page with more up to date info on our game connectivity.

WE DO APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT, MUCH THANKS

Quick question does anyone know how to deal with the C++ error that you get when going to ACT 3 in GOW?? It then causes the came to close.

Xfire : nyxfirefly(I show up as redfish though heheh)

Games: GOW,UT3,COD4 + others that will be added

My HDD is too small right now to put on everything  :crybaby2:

Anybody having problems with gears of war.
Try what phill posted above first. If that ent work den ->

Follow d instructions on d homepage. it have a file for gears, donwload it and follow d readme.
dies how to setup gears properly. if your game crashing is likely 1 out of 2 things. You dont have a graphics driver dat coudl run gears.
Or you crack gears like goobar. Is most likely the latter. So juss follow d instructions on d homepage.

Password for all files is : g@m3 (which has been updated on homepage).

Any further issues, contact me or phill.

just a quick note...

i haven't checked either of the links for the Gears crashing issue... but basically you need to install the microsoft runtime environment... its a common issue once that out of the way everybody should be ok...

edit:

To fix this problem, first uninstall the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package from the Control Panel (If it's not there dont worry about it). Next, download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package Service Pack 1. For 64-bit systems, install the service pack from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en. For 32-bit systems, install it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en
