OK im gonna ask a n00bish question here





What do i need to get DOTA up an running???

can sumone give me a lil tutorial for this...I tried it once in the past but i cudnt get it up...i will be on vacation an i lookin fuh ah lil game to play

i will suggest you go to garena.com


download there software

then go to getdota.com

to download the latest map as well as the last stable map

assuming your warcraft three is updated to 1.20 and you either have a legit copy

or if say yu had a non legit copy... with say some sort of launcher... that allows yu to play it cd less
say with out say a blizzard key or something... hmm if such a thing existed....


then using garena yu could play with a couple thousand dota ites across the globe

lol, things are only hard in the gaming world when you're not legit.

For someone with an original copy of warcraft 3, dota is a simple custom map download away. Happens automatic when you join such a game on battlenet. They couldn't make it simpler.

By your question, it raises the issue of the legitimacy of your copy of the game, but we not here to investigate that. sweat iwmc.
