The fact that a lot of the characters have the same stances and combos worries me, somewhat. If the combo system is anything like MK4, I will cuss.Quote from: Crixx_Creww on July 17, 2008, 01:34:45 AM... you a comic book fan arc? Before you continue, let me just say that I hope you're not going to pull the old 'If you're a true comic book fan, you will stay far from this game' shtick, because that is beyond ridiculous. I think I've gone over quite a few times why the whole logic behind 'OMG WHAT DID THEY DO TO SUPERMAN?!' is, quite frankly, a load of nonsense.
... you a comic book fan arc?
I do agree though that unless you are a MK fan or a DC fan this game mightn't appeal to you based on the gameplay videos released so far. What this needs to attract the masses isNUDITY!!!as a matter of fact all games should have that.

Mortal Kombat 9 Planned As A Mature Return To FormPosted On: Jul 26 2008, 12:20 AMKotaku has reported that there are already plans for Mortal Kombat 9:While that grittier, darker version of MK didn't make it far beyond the technology development stages Boon told us there was little in the way of concept art for the grimier spin on the series the next next Mortal Kombat may strive for more blood, more violence, more of everything that warrants an M-rating.The artistic vision of a less saturated, less Superman filled fighter is still swimming around Boon's head, a title that may rest on the success of MK vs. DC. We spent more time with the crossover fighter tonight and talked with Boon about plenty of other MK-related topics. Tune in tomorrow for the rest of our conversation.

lolziam just waiting to hear how they toning these people down enuff for this to make sense
I'm still waiting for one person to give me a feasible answer as to how the concept behind MK vs DC is any different from Marvel vs. Capcom, because both feature impossible match-ups between comic book superheroes and characters from fighting games.
