Good GOD...that post about the DX11 performance reads like a bad engrish joke.  Try not posting such next time Mobscene.

Just post the link.  Let the readers decide if they want to subject their sensibilities to that.

As for the Service Pack, I don't think anyone's in a rush to install it.
Let's see if there are any issues first.

Wow. Them sources look like the internet version of a sketchy looking man on Broadway selling "genuine" gold items.

Still, I can't fault the man for posting it. A source is a source and if what they are reporting is to be believed, it makes for some interesting times ahead.

Still, I wait to see something from more "official" sources.

Hmmm nice link there mob. For all intents and purposes, this seems to be final code, a RTW (release to web) with the RTM version coming in the next 2-3 months.

Yeah, i'll take a stab at it. Hopefully the speed pick up so I can install tonight.

Excellent work mob

I think I'll play it safe and wait for the Microsoft release though. Windows Update has been good to me so far.

Seems they've finally gotten it right. Can't say a bad thing about 7. (cept that sometimes I try to delete files and it says they're in use....but that's minor)

Perhaps it's best to wait a bit?

..at least until Microsoft self says so?

Pfft where is the fun in that? Installed on Friday and no errors or anything out of the ordinary.

When MS does decide to release this VERY SP, after just changing the build string slightly, i'll uninstall this and install that or if I wanna be reall hardcore abt it I will restore from my non-sp1 image first.

Legit Enterprise on a personal PC? o_O

My understanding of Microsoft's licensing for Enterprise edition is that it can only be activated with a MAK (Multiple Activation Key) or KMS (Key Management Service) and such products are only made available to Volume Licensing customers (250+ PCs)...how many PCs yuh conducin in yuh house boy Cap? :D

people have access to legit versions of windows enterprise and others via many sources.

For instance i have certain msdn access etc to the windows (all versions)... so the man could very well be legit with enterprise....

Czar is right on the money.

Our ministry has an EA with Microsoft that covers many different technologies.

those who know what that is and how it works, I need not say more.

I have direct access to MOH KMS, however with a 6 months re-activation policy... I rather not.... So my question still stands... does SP1 break 'other' versions?

Who is gonna step up to the plate and test this? The QUESTION is who among us will take one for the team. Who has the cojones hmmm??

On a real though, men who system run into the THOUSANDS of dollars have no right to be running pirate Windows 7. I myself am contemplating getting a oem 64bit pro (140us) just in case.
