OK, so over the weekend I played a bit more seriously, and also started the SSE with a friend. IMO, the best part of that is the cutscenes. Along with that, I found sonic to be better than I initially thought. He isn't as weak (i.e. lacking power hits) as he first seems, its just a bit of adjusting required. He seems to be the polar opposite of Ike as well, and even if its been said a hundred times in this thread already, Ike is a Baddest down to the last. Even with the reduced gravity and Ike's less-than-blazing speed, his standard combo is enough to KO lighter, faster characters like Pit on high damage, and his Up and Side tilt attacks KO on damage as low as 70%. So far, the biggest trouble I've gotten in with Ike is being hit, while too close to the edge, with a Star Rod. Being launched high is really no big obstacle, with that chargeable Side B and the surprise counterattack using Eruption and (really now) the counter.

Not only that, alot of the items stay for a hell of a lot longer time than in Melee. Even after thrown around and falling on the ground, the Bat has a longer life this round. The new item pickup method is reallly helpful this time around as well. Don't like how items seem heavier this time though...they travel quite a bit less distance when thrown. But damn, isn't that Smart Bomb just too dread?

lol me and my bro were playing a match online against two of you guys and one of you basically beat me with the fan, from 0% to death, in a infinite spam...

To which my brother stood and watched me get beat, laughed ,the other guy laughed too, and I just took it...

lol, that was me. I was real laughing when your bro kept saying "Lol" with the in game character chat thingy.

The fan is absolute rubbish and imba. Now, we just fling that off the stage on sight.

Oh, just so you guys know, "Rten" or "Alexx" is ME. Oh and NoobGoneWild, if you were wondering how to make spaces between the words, you just look for the button that has "@", press it once and move the selection cursor tingy away from it, then you have your space. Fellas, i wanna sweat Thursday night and easter weekend, anyone up for this?
