I want to write a book

I want to write a book, fiction most dfinitely, along any genre, any1 have any tips on how to go about doing this?
I want to do it in a way that art helps to move along the story,not entirley like a graphic novel but just enough art to push the story along

 Otherwise you start your story , finish or almost finish it , and then try and find a reputable publisher for it.

get yourself a copy of everything's eventual by stephen king

its a collection of some of his best short stories
and one of my most cherished books
really really reallllllyyyyyyy great short stories

the kind that when its done yu go nooo damnit!! write more!!!

his epic, the dark tower, came out of one of his short stories
and well that room 1411 or whatever the movie was, is also one of his short stories... its just too bad that tthe short story was better than that whole movie lol
