i don't think ones comments affects their gaming
and if anything it makes them a lil bit stornger in my opinion
confidence is a hell of a thing

if u think u can do something you can

so if you big up yourself openly, why not?
u work hard to get where you are......
you know u peung game and sweat and get skills

Well said splits. Games are actually %70 mind %30 skill. I remember somebody keep telling me i shetty while I playing him and he one. Next round I start some trash talk and tell him nonsense Instead of being quiet and taking in what he was telling me and I beat him real badd all the way afterward.

I know most of the skilled men keep quiet while playing. the exception is, when its amongst a group of close gamers, there may be some comments, but not disrespectful verbal jabs at people  that are usually out of context with the gaming goig on.

Celebrating after a hard earned victory is encouraged.
Keeping up team morale DURING a match is encouraged, but the away to do so is to commend partners on good plays and give advice to improve their game where needed.

THe way NOT to do it is to make non stop foul remarks at the enemy.

If you respect your opponent, then this wouldnt even be an issue.

THere is a lack of honour and respect within certain factions of gatt. This is unfortunate.

i was going to put up this same thread
it gets really anoying esp when u kill these certain ppl
and the acclaim really loudly with expletives
that is wrong and how u cheating
yuh cheap and ent got no skills
one of these i go tell them hull thier mc
and watch who name on top the list with kills

If there's one thing I just absolutely, positively DESPISE not only in the battlefield, but gaming on the whole, is gloaters.
Sure, it feels really great to knock up that really hard-to-kill dude that's tearing up the battlefield, but damn! Do you HAVE to let everybody know it? The guy's just going to respawn and wreak havoc  on your pitiful behind again! Sheesh....
It's just something about people being to cocky that I just don't like.
Going up against somebody like that can really ruin your concentration, too, when they're constantly getting lucky and decide to let you know it.
And BOY, do they let you know it!  :x

But what relieves me in the end is the fact that somewhere, someone is just waiting in the wings to humble that gloater once and for all.
And when that happens, I'd probably be the first guy rolling on the floor, laughing my ass off.

But then again, that's just me.
