I would think this poll as a result of me stating the voting for the gamefest with Halo 3and Cod4 poll was mainly xbox360 men.
All I said was that I think most of the voters were xbox 360 men.
Just to note I never said xbox 360 version was more popular but I just use my brain to think about the poll and make my own observations.
The poll was with Halo3 vs CoD4.....wut the frock you think they referrring if is a poll vs halo 3....obviously not pc

I have no doubt the pc is more popular, To be honest I would play it on PC but well I have a 360 with xbox live and a dell 2400 that cyah even run friggin CoD2.....

No comments atm (wrt silva/crixx etc)... that aside, you'll see more 360 votes soon, what ppl fail to realize is that most 360 players are on XBL at night not a gaming site that aside I am both a PC gamer and an console and as far as a tournament goes its much more feasible to have a console COD4 sweat. I had this discussion last night with Redlum and a few others. Whilst I agree VISUALLY the PC version can run circle around the console version with its legs tied and blind folded, you have ANY IDEA WHAT SPEC machine YOU NEED TO DO THAT? I should post this in the actual gamefest thread but i'll put it here in the hope that it'll reach its intended audience:

As far as a tournament goes you organise 2-4 HD projectors (720p/1080i) 2-4 Xbox 360's and you have a 4-16 man sweat right there. You ALSO have the option to run Halo 3 and/or COD4 or Gear of War amoung countless other good titles. It's cheaper, easier to set up and easier TO WATCH! which imho is VERY important for a tournament. As opposed to finding 8-16 MID-HIGH end PC rigs to run COD4 in all it's glory.

I love PC gaming seeing as I was bred on it, however I have seriously come to appreciate the BENEFITS of the console. In terms of EASE of USE, TIME TO SETUP, PORTABILITY, PRICE (granted you buy games, but honestly all REAL gamers BUY the games they love!).

Thus my vote went towards the 360 ALTHOUGH I think the PC version ROCKS!!!

I agree with W1nTry, it makes more sense to have consoles, its more practical seeing as you will need High end machines to have the full PC experience with COD 4. I don't know what resources they have at this GameFest, but I doubt they will have 10 HIGH end machines to run a COD 4 LAN competition....
Besides, if you look at the MLG competitions in the US the bulk of it is XBox (COD 4, Halo 3, Halo 2, Vegas etc. etc.) with men playing with Controllers, not mice and keyboard....

I prefer the PC version hands down, mainly because nothing beats a keyboard and mouse for accuracy.

However, I  honestly think that the 360 versions is more tournament friendly ala Wintry's statement. It is much easier to round up some consoles rather than 10 pcs with good specs. Would probably draw a decent crowd as well.

right now, DEST cafe has about 6 dells, with amd processors and some 8400s or something like that

absolutely NOTTTT high spec, and everyone thoroughly enjoys the frag fest on those machines.

The reason why XB is used so much for competitions in the states is simply because americans have been brain washed by bill gates (literaly)( what you think the green light is for ) into thinking that the XB is the second coming of Jesus. Proof is in the pudding, the fact that halo has been so hyped, is total proof that mind altering is at work, cause HALO IS NOT THAT GOOD A GAME!! SERIOUSSSLYYYY!!

as for competition, if iam a true competitor, iam gonna want the best tools at my disposal for fragging

I go debate with you on your "chookup" scree there Crixx
you can play "chookup" screen if all you have is a pos 27inch tv.....or you can just go on LIVE where MORE people talk in game esp in team matches.
I prefer the 360 with the sheer volume of people i know that play that version. I cant f*cking stand the rooms you go in on PC where NOBODY talks in a team match. Matchmaking and setup is much easier..and nobody does kick yuh MC ass off at times nor do you have to bother about "oh sh!t that ping kinda low"
I dont need to alt tab on LIVE nub - MSN works on LIVE- OOPS!!! and we can just send a voice message - IN GAME....kthxbai.
