Guess I'm unlucky but I'm experiencing some issues with this game. Started a new profile and whenever the ship lands on Eden Prime the game 'blacks out' and I can't see anything. A patch would be very welcome.

what patch version are you running? as in game patch, not crack patch...

i recommend you reinstall from the retail disk iso that you should have if you acquired the game properly, visit gameburnworld.com and then download the specific No-DVD executable...

I don't have an actual iso. Could that really be the problem? The game works great on my 1st profile. As for patch version, are there game patches out :S ?

Anyway I'll reinstall and see if that fixes it. Thanks.

Yes its true...last year EA did in fact purchase Bioware, the makers of Mass Effect.

i kno this tread kinda dead already, but i now finish this game like 5 minutes ago, and i just have to say........WAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!! IT.....WAS.....MAD!!!! i really don't kno if anybody out there had doubts about getting this game, but do yourself a favor and play it NOW. even if u don't like RPGs or Space Operas in general, still get it. you won't be disappointed. please Bioware.......MAKE A SEQUEL!!!!!

I installed and played this game for about 10mins and got totally overwhelmed by how much stuff you have to learn and remember in terms of adding weapon upgrades/bullet types/armor/upgrading you and squad mates *faints*

I need to have alot of time to sit down and really go through that thing. I uninstalled it ftw (due to very limited HDD space) but playing that game is like being in a movie, really cool. I would have to agree with Rage just get it, you will like it.

I'm getting similar issues. The game is ridiculously buggy.
