Hello Everyone, Well, as the header says, ANIME CITY is back - sort of ... Let me explain. Despite spending way too much time outside of T&T these past 12months, we had always planned to do our next show for Easter with a triumphant return to The Centre of Excellence, the original home of Anime City. Everything had to be planned down to the final detail for this show, to be called SHINKA, since, as with everything else, the Centre of Excellence had raised their charges astronomically once more for us (no big surprise, they've done that before) and the projection and sound equipment rental had also skyrocketed - so there was no room for error. There would have been a small increase in ticket prices but we would still be fair to all Otakus and keep them as low as we always have. But the big change came when some of our major sponsors in the US & Japan emailed us and informed the organising committee that some of the cutting edge stuff we had planned for SHINKA would be delayed until July-August this year - far too late for us to present in March. Our sponsors suggested that we move the show to the end of October, early November instead so as to have everything ready in time. We agreed - but more on that later! So we were left in a bind - fans were emailing and calling non-stop asto when the next ANIME CITY would be - how could we tell them that we'd have to cancel again? Finally, we spoke to some of the loyal Otakus and they suggested we do a smaller, more intimate show just so the local fans would have somewhere to spend some time and lime together. Sounds like a plan - we remembered how much fun everyone had at our last show back in January 2007 and how intimate the setting was - so it's a go BUT ONLY 350 tickets will be sold .... ANNOUNCING ...
