This card was released a while back in time especially for the GeForce 8800GT
Well i have the HR-03 GT for about a month now. When I tried it on my 790GS, I found it didn't do much for temp.
When I tried it on my 8800GT this week, temps went UP from 61C (with stock cooler) to as high as 70C idle
Took it out, inspected and reinstalled... this time making the screws as tight as possible without needing a needle-nose pliers.
now my GPU temp is 42C idle - an almost 20C drop!!
Using ATItool to generate load, only 51C!!!!
