Apparently mistaking the tracks for tarmac.He had the wherewithal to try to flag down the on-coming commuter train, which ignored him before piling into the vehicle at around 60mph, leaving it in a heap some 200 feet away.Silicon Valley techie, Bai was driving a rental car in Bedford Hills, New York relying on his GPS system as a guide."As the car is driving over the tracks, the GPS system tells him to turn right, and he turns right onto the railroad tracks," Dan Brucker, spokesman for train company Metro-North, told the Lower Hudson Online."He tried to stop the train by waving his arms, which apparently was not totally effective in slowing the train."The company is facing complaints from 10,000 delayed travellers and wants Bai to pay. µ
