Eric Bana BOMBED, Edward Norton FTW but Bill Bixby (RIP) will always be David Bruce Banner to me.

*walks away, hitchhiking, old piano theme playing...*

Ahh, the classics...

I thought Eric Bana was good as Banner...very emo...around the early stages when he became HULK which WAS how he was. Afraid, concerned and confused. The SCRIPT and STORYLINE was the problem.....the problem with HULK (Ang Lee version) wasnt that Eric Bana sucked, that is GARBAGE, the problem was that HULK had NOTHING TO FIGHT.

Ed Norton is very good, and is able to fulfill the roll of Banner in a very different way, which works. and THIS time HULK had something to fight. The shaky camera action was also VERY welcome adding more realism to the scenario. I liked the character for ABOMINATION, Tim Roth is friggin sick and did ALOT with the little voice acting he was offered in the movie....he was STILL able to be a cool villain.

I like the small additions to Bixby in the TV series, Stan Lee does this cameo as usual and Lou Ferrigno gets a little line or too as well....and then you see why he better off as hulk mashing up stuff rather than acting. But still that was nice - The man still HUGE dread.

Bana was too huge. As emo as he was, he didn't scream "geek" like Norton or Bixby. Maybe I'm biased in my assessment and I'm comparing him but I just don't get the sense of transition that I'd expect between Bruce and the Hulk when I see Bana as Banner. The change isn't drastic enough.

The storyline was balls indeed. General Ross wasn't bad though.

I just hope the CG was better done. Last time around, they made Hulk look like Blanka before fat camp.

^^^ *Concurs*

Saw it last night, in Globe, with KUNG-FU PANDA no less (very awesome in its own right).
Last night was a perfect example of why cinemas like Globe are still needed.  The usual
out-loud s#!t talk was especially stellar last night, but the movie audio was too low.

All my fears about the CGI were allayed.  BIG props to Marvel Studios for another 'smasher'.
I especially like the little homages paid to the TV-series, and the comics.  Good job.

I really admire how the stage is being set for a grand Avengers movie with all these 'little'
movies.  Who's next in the line-up?  I heard rumours of either Captain America, or Thor.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the serum that General Ross used on Blonsky, the same that
created Captain America?

i'm sorry but, this movie cant compare wit d first, dis was like a big cartoon for me..hulk smash? cmon i thought i was playin marvel vs capcom 3, i was waitin for a gamma quake
especially wit d quick character dev to start off wit,
den d cgi and all was like a cartoon, not being as deeply thought out as the first wen the actually made a facial connection wit Bana and movement of an actual human - personalised then

i eh kno why ppl does beat down d first one, dat was one of the more creative films in a while

Wait wait wait... a man jes say this one was cartoony compared to the FIRST... DUDE... the first one was more crap than the combined faecal disposal of the Asian continent during a food posioning epidemic! it had HULK DOGS in the first one... they intentionally CHOSE the comic book framing cut scenes to add to the COMIC feel... how could this latest iteration even COMPARE to THAT LEVEL OF RUBBISH?

That movie was awesome they got hulk right!!! THey let him talk, and do what he is supposed to do, and i still find that they did enough humanised emotions for him, in this one, just enough to let you know that he have some human genes in him, but not too much to let you feel that he's the grey hulk.

Hmm...I hope to watch this sometime soon, the most I have to go on it so far is my bro's opinion, and he's a near-fanatic when it comes to doing critique on these types of movies...

His general opinion is that, all things compared, the first one was a *little* better overall...but that's not to knock this movie. It's just that the two movies delivered in different areas...I guess it's just a case of delivering the areas that the fans want to see first...but I will give my opinion when I get to watch it...(if I ever get paid at the rate things are going)...... :(

alyu beating down hulk poodle and ting, fine i cud understand
i guess "hulk smash" and "hulk applause" was to ur liking.
wen i go in a movie i wana see sumtin new sumtin fresh, i was wathcin dat and i see alkinda ting i see before - i see transformers, i see king kong. the last incarnation was totally creative, from the application of the cgi, the same comic book screenplay u wanna beat down, to the origin of hulk.

i eh sayin it was a horrible movie by any means, but if u wana go in d cinema and spend cash to watch me hulk me smash, and hulk applause, fix up, i is one of those who want some kinda cinematic substance along with my sensless action. the other one was better to me...in fact even if they wanted a nex hulk i tink dey cudda continue from the old one, dat wasnt a bad basis atall. (if dey cud make a hellboy sequel i tink dey cud make a sequel to that)

Again...your opinion.  Neither the critics, nor the box office figures agree with you though.
So what does that say? Hmmm?

Its just a movie.  Not everyone is going to like it the same way, or even like it.  It wasn't made for you alone.

Personally, I wouldn't change a thing.  I applaud the direction this movie took, but then,
thats just my opinion.
