Ok, I will admit that I didn't know who this was until I googled her picture, and recognised
her from Smallville.




I disagree Berzerker...I think she will make a FANTASTICALLY SEXY Chun Li, and if we get a nude
shower scene like the animated film (oh you KNOW the one), I think that just might be worth the
price of admission alone.

As for not knowing martial arts...pffft...not a problem.  Just ask Keanu Reeves or Larry Fishburne.

I won't judge until I actually see some footage.

I'm pretty sure several movies have made some wacky choices for actors before, and yet have still done well. The Matrix, as quoted before, used actors that didn't really have much knowledge of the martial arts before they signed on, and it turned out well.

I agree with everybody that she's definitely a looker, though.
With some serious training, who knows how well she might actually do in the movie?
Let's give her a chance and see.

...that last image has me thinking. She certainly has the right face for it.
However (and this is just me nitpicking here), her breasts are too small. Still, she seems to be more ideal for the part than Kristin, if you're going by her looks, if nothing else. However, Crixx has a point....form's important.

I usually bust people's chops for reviving dead posts like that without a good reason.
However, I guess five months has given me some time to really sit down and think about this.

To be honest, even now, I think Kristen is a bad choice for Chun-Li.
After looking through some photos of her from Smallville and other roles she has played, there is nothing that really stands out about her that is remotely Chun-Li-ish. Hell, she's not even Chinese. She's a half-breed Polynesian. On top of that, she, like Zhang (probably better suited for the part in terms of facial appearance alone) is flat compared to Chun-Li's in game appearances.


However, that's not to say I won't give her the benefit of a doubt.
A few protein shakes and exercise can work wonders for somebody.
So, like I said, not happy with the choice, but I'll give her a chance.
