TSTT WOES
« on: December 20, 2007, 08:22:26 AM »
After some consideration and not wanting to revive an old thread and having the WTMC thread just not giving enough singularity i've decided to a new thread... it could be renamed to INTERNET WOES but that will come in time, for now its to catalog the woes of not just myself but others who are ATM also being affected by TSTT's continued INCOMPETENCE. Since its says TSTT woes I would say it is extended to ALL facets of their organization meaning bmobile, wireless, leased circuits, etc. Hopefully we could also CONSTRUCTIVELY use this forum to help troubleshoot problems our fellow GATTers experience. However I will start off on a BITTER note

Day: 11
Still no internet, I haven't called TSTT for the day YET, to get the usual run around to no point. I have cussed TSTT in so many different ways now that I am running out of expletives in english... soon i'll start using different languages just cause my native tongue has become boring. I have sent an email to support@tstt.net.tt via webmail from the office, i've NEVER gotten a response from TSTT before so I don't expect one now. TSTT... *Sighs* it doh even make sense to explain how fed up I am of their $%^&ing waste of time, excuse of slug excrement I think THEY and ppl WORKING FOR THEM are...fc&* off TSTT.

This is pretty much what I relegated myself to actually, what hurts the MOST is that I have Xbox Live which is PAID for and I am losing time which equates in my mind to MONEY, So those FCUKERS will remain on my SH1T list from now on, expect that I will treat all TSTT employees with scorn from now on fault or none. I just hate how there is NO SERVICE industry in T&T.... FCUK man!

Now you do know the filter goes on any connection with a PHONE NOT on the line to the modem right? it seems like a dumb question but sometime its the simple things...

If you have more than one extension in the house, the filter MUST be then connected to the first 'point-of-entry'.
To put it another way, all phones/extensions must come off of the phone side of the splitter, or else the DSL connection
will drop every single time the phone rings.  Of course, I had to learn this the hard way.

You don't need a filter on the dsl modem itself. The filter basically separates the low and high freqeuncies from each other. The Internet traffic is modulated over a higher freq signal to the phones. Thus in some cases when you have phone on the line with a DSL modem somewhere else in the house, you get a 'hum' As for having a filter on the MAIN line, its not necessary. Just on the Phones. I guess in some special cases it may help to put one on the main line, but that depends on how the conenction in the house run.

having the filter on the dsl line serves a purpose if yu have a security system for your house that is attached to your fone line.

these systems, at different times of the day send data back to the company of the phone line, which will result in disconnects if you dont have a filter on your dsl line.

but for all other purposes, yu just need the filters on the line with those things that ring during your dota games and annoy  yu

Day 13 - no internet. Well I went in to TSTT yesterday and I at least got them to rebate for the period of no services. I will have to go into them for additional rebate for the continuing days without internet.

After all the complaints I make so far and all the request to get it fixed there was still no report on the line when I went in yesterday. How the F that so? PPl does delete it at the end of the day or what?

The most I got was the guy's name and so no he will have to pay the price for TSTT incompetence because I will be calling him everyday to harass him non stop.

One thing that gets to me is that a bunch of my neighbors internet went down the same time and is still down yet every single TSTT employee I've spoken too absolutely refuses to acknowledge it as a problem in the area. They keep telling me everbody's problem is different and there is no issue in the area.

low cant reach here fast enough. As it is I've come to terms that I will not get it back by Christmas, I beleive at this point I am looking at January.

Hmm strange cause I spoke to someone in Billing yesterday and they said they ARE AWARE of this problem affecting multiple customer and the problem is at the Exchange and they have 'supposedly' been working on it since the outage (YEAH RIGHT and my left kidney can sing the alphabet in Hindi) just goes to show how ^&*(ING RETARDED the PPL WORKING in TSTT ARE, For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge man!!!

Yeah.. day 13...

I hearing those mudda F^&*ing ads for blink with the "all I want for xmas is my blink etc" and all I hadda think is yeah I agree but what's the use of getting an 'upgrade' when in fact it means NO MUDDA F^&*ING SERVICE AT ALL... speaking of that I give dem a flush on Red 96.7 yesterday evening, TSTT MCS! on another note, I coincidentally heard yesterday not too long after I flush dem, an add on the radio for TATT, basically it was to the effect that should you be suffering from issues from your telecommunications provider, there is a form from TATT (telecom authority of T&T) to lodge an official complaint that is 'SUPPOSED' to ENGAGE TATT to defend your customer rights and to move to expedite the resolution of the problem. I think its' time I call meh padna working dere and organise this cause TSTT REAL F&*(ing pissing me off to NO END!!!
