Google Earth figures in murder investigationSpy in the skyBy Nick Farrell: Thursday, 13 December 2007, 8:58 AMINSPECTOR Knacker of the Melbourne yard is looking at footage taken by Google Earth in the hope of finding the killer of a young woman.The body of the, as yet, unnamed Asian woman was found wrapped in a plastic bag dumped in the front yard of an empty Melbourne house.The owner of the house discovered the body while working in the overgrown front yard.Coppers hope that Google Earth, which has been taking snaps of the suburb for the last week might have snapped the killer dumping the body.If it does it will be the first time that Google Earth has been used as a spy satellite.
