Well i could see this one crashing into a couple walls and getting totalled. What a retarded Idea to make Speed Racer into a MOVIE with real life characters...Hollywood really has money to through away..The budget alone from that garbage could have fed thousands of starving kids in Africa..WASTE!

Not a movie worth taking seriously at all and that's why it's going to be great.

I aint liying when i say that the man with the threat have a reall bad man voice, I think he probably did some serious voice actiing in some cartoons or even games, I will investiquire into this. Oh yeah with a movie like this they should do a remake of Freakazoid or something that would be really nice in live action.

i saw the new trailer in work and went ok wow @ all teh colourages and effecxzzz awesomezz!!!

not like anything else ever seen in hollywood and for that alone its worth watching

but isnt it interesting that when america redoes japanese cartoons, they turn the asian leads into white people??? kinda sad...

but racer x looks badass!!

But, you know, a Speed Racer movie might kick ass.

Would there be any moment in the movie where they talk like this?

Holy crap. This movie was awesome. I don't remember much of the original (I maybe saw it a couple times) but this was something else. It was also very, very colorful. If you suffer from seizures or motion sickness, this is not the movie for you. Also, be prepared to leave your brain at the door. However, bring your heart ... especially if your heart has a thing for racing. You are guaranteed to leave at the end of the movie with a smile on your face. If not, chances are you brought your brain ...

This movie was awesome. I literally got tingles when I watched that last race. *Not for the epileptic.* Corny at times but that was to be expected (It's SPEED FRICKIN RACER, come on). These dudes/dudettes wield cars like Samurai swords. Even for cartooney maneuvers, the moves looked VERY impressive technique-wise.

All I can say is if EVERY racing game was like that, there would be no better driver than me. The colours, the explosions, the graphics, the light... If you thought Mario Kart 64 Rainbow Road had colours, Kart is now GRAYSCALE by comparison. I felt the same sense of awe and wonder I did the first time I beat a game. It was almost yogic. Go Speed, GO.
