It's sooo true though... we get virtually 2x the power year on year and yet apps still don't seem to get any faster.... its very similar to the whole console vs. PC gaming. Every year we get PCs that are graphically and computationally superior from that of the previous... yet the game requirements seem to get triple that much... yet a console will stretch the process out and end up with HIGHLY OPTIMIZED, GREAT looking games.... tsk tsk

  microsoft drives the hardware industry by making lame software.... If each new version of windows ran BETTER on older hardware   , everyone who doesn't play games won't need new pcs , industry stagnates....
