Check out the latest iteration of the Subaru Impreza WRX STI (quite a mouthful eh).  The ultimate performance version.
This baby is equipped with a Boxer engine that puts out 305 horsepower.  Personally, I'm not a fan of the 5-door 'hatchback' design,
but the pedigree of this car is undeniable.  At a starting price of over 34K US, it aint cheap either.

...and it definately AIN'T the nicest lookin Imprezza  :shakehead:

i've never really liked the boxxer engine (other than the sound it makes :happy0203:)

and it really amuses me when i see all those loosers with the 'STi' version of the TS1.6 ...as in 1.6L NON-Turbo making all of 90hp, lol ...all bling-out with big rims and spoiler, and de car DEAD!!

Well considering how UGLY the normal sedan is (first time I see the add I was like WTMC!!!) I didn't have high hopes for the actual rally version since rules for such are along the production #s etc.. that aside, it looks heavy and like its supposed to appeal to the soccer mom... OWN GOAL subaru imho....
