Its a great improvement over the 701, but sadly, it has already been pwnt.

EDIT!!!
Waitaminute.....It looks like Asus is set to return the pwnage with the new 1000H version. :awesome:

check da gory details.....

Wow...almost the same hardware config, but the MSI Wind has a 'slight' advantage in price, but the 1000H more
than makes up for it by what seems to be stellar battery life (no doubt due, in part, to the new Intel Atom CPU).

Well done Asus. :notworthy:

So

http://www.amazon.com/10-Inch-Netbook-Processor-E-Storage-Bluetooth/dp/B001QTXL82/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1234257041&sr=8-13

Anyone got this already? Seriously thinking about buying one, I am just wondering are these 10 inch screens easy on the eyes? for reading pdf manuals etc.?

Battery life lookin real good, would that Super Hybrid Engine require specific drivers for your OS to run properly?

the Super Hybrid Engine mentioned is an application that is installed along with other drivers. It is very useful in saving battery life. I've have seen 13~14Watts used in Super Performance mode, and as little as 9~10Watts when in Auto_Power Save mode.

and i've found that the screen size is quite adequate for normal browsing, but to really be an effective PDF browser, you should rotate the pages and hold the PC like a book.

I'm actually gong to order the blue one to it tomorrow for a friend. I currently own the white 1000HA.

The 1000HE adds this over my 1000HA:

- longer battery life
- newer chipset and processor
- better layout keyboard
- bluetooth (I had to buy a Dell internal bluetooth module, then open my 1000HA and install it to get bluetooth. didnt cost much, though)
- wider variety of colours coming soon (black, blue, white, gold, pink, silver)
God is dead.
