Finally Arima get true high speed internet, been noticing for a while pings in COD4 have gotten a whole lot better, started uTorrent and noticed my dload speed kept going up immediately did a speed test and this is what I got.

My ping in games are about 90-120 so I am happy about that, now I run around in COD4 with a deagle killin mofos... sniper loadout ftw!

Question guys, does switching to blink put you back on their server side firewall.
We just got the new modem (and it still working at the old speed but thats a another story) but in general everything working kinda jacked up since the change.
I was wondering whether it might be because I'm back under the 'protection' of their firewall which I would want removed immediately of course.

Anyone in Chaguanas on blink?
And I mean actually on blink, not "I have the new modem and getting billed under blink therefore I on blink". Cause apparently there's a difference.
I check with with a friend who has the paradyne modem as well, and we still on the old dsl. Same speed, but our billing going as blink showing us signed up for blink increased speeds.\
Apparently you can look at the router settings and tell if you're under the old or new system. And blink settings not working for me.

So all that "Chaguanas you are ready to blink" bull**** in the papers have me sharpening things with edges. Anyone from central ACTUALLY getting the new high speeds and could you tell me how much man throat you slash before it finally happen?

Hi blink users....

Out of curiousity can ya'll run this test here:
http://speedtest.tstt.net.tt/

and let me know what ping ya'll get...

I most likely going to blink soon cuz carib-link screwing me over for 5 months now....

In the past week I've been running that test and getting a ping of 76-110 (76 being the best and not attainable since)
(I never got that good, its usually 300 - 1000ms) lol

So since I into online gaming I want to know if the switch to blink will better my ping as thats the main reason...otherwise i'll just wait til carib-link sort out their crap..

I don't think that new modem makes any difference.

They did the same in the office by me. Speed is the same as before. We already had blink with the old modem.

Like they just have extra modems to give away or something.
