But Knifin in COD not that outta the way at all,
I personally, prefer to use the mouse wheel for that.
If I had a mouse with some extra buttons, I'd set most of my weapon commands to the mouse and leave movement stuff to my left hand. C4 would be a breeze

That keyboard looks cool. Must cost a mint. I too have F for knifing and use mouse wheel to scroll between weapons and changed V to use/pick up weapon.

The keyboard does have a lot of remapping options as you might think because you try to get all the keys close to you index, middle and married finger as possible which doesn't leave much.

It takes away time when reacting in fast paced shooters such as when a man comes up on you to knife him immediately, because your finger is not actively on that key, its hovering over the D key. Also bending down to pick up weapons on the run is slower than if I use a pad.

yeah, that merc stealth keyboard definitely looking hotter and sounding better hype wise. Read some reviews and it got positive remarks. The price ain't bad either. US$66.00 or thereabouts.

Yeah...I was actually thinking of replacing my G15 with that MercStealth...but the number of extra keys is slightly daunting,
and then there's the necessary learning curve.  I don't game often, or intensely enough to justify that extra purchase just yet though,
that is, unless someone needs a Logitech G11/G15 for a no-stick price.

I talk to team mates through Steam voice chat since my friends and I downloaded the game through steam. Now that i have xfire I use the xfire chat but it does be messing up with a lot static sometimes. Never in game chat though

You might find voice chat in team games, but certainly not in the free-for-all.
Its better to form a squad and use an external chat client, than use the in-game chat.

...and yes, Cap't Awesome is quite a formidable player, especially with that damn knife.

They've got it for US$49.95.

Works out to TT$315.00 vs the TT$475 I paid locally for the boxed copy. Granted I got a pretty box, a DVD and shaved a few hours in download time, but still. Steam sounding like the sweeter deal.

Think I'll grab my next title off there. Unreal 3 looking interesting.

LOL. Fellas, I really hate non hardcore mode servers. It takes tooo much effort to kill one noob. Hardcore server with about 10 people (5 a side) makes for a VERY INTERESTING sweat. That said, there are a couple other very good players on GATT as well. Arc, Warone and others. Noob, I know you was well versed in cod1/2 so it wouldnt take long for the skills to transfer.

As I told Noob, the secret is to run and shoot (and I dont mean basketball). Simple logic...its harder to hit a moving target.

I recently did something silly and changed the cd-key and had my rank reset  but it's even more fun picking off ppl who have been playing for a while when you're an old level and they claim that you are cheating cause they can't kill you easily lol.
