I love COD too , demo is more CoD goodness but with improved gameplay , new setting and better graphics.

Only worry i have is the storyline won't be as good as Cod 1s was. CoD 1 was based on ACTUAL events, very similar to 'band of brothers' it'll be hard to top it.

Graphics are good but not amazing , but i'm grateful it doesn't lag on my system , full version will probably look better.

The thing i'm enjoying most is that i can... FINALLY.. KILL MEN THROUGH WALLS !

My only beef is that its not as realistic as i expected , like the original CoD the demo has you killing hundreds of soldiers who swarm mindlessly like bugs.... I noticed their own tank knock 5 of them down and pelt them off the side of the bridge. Funny but it detracts from immersion .

November gonna be a month for games, Cod 4 , Unreal 3 , Crysis !

You know what, sometimes in CoD2, I get killed when someone shoot me through a wall. Like when I'm prone on a roof, they say how they saw a piece of me on the other side

Smells like the new battlefield 2 folks..

Running everything on max, it seems pretty optimized for a demo, not one hitch....

I cyah wait for the online oh god....anyone know if it'll be running 32v32 matches? dat go make my year.

I like games like cod4 and battlefield over unreal just for the extra depth, but dont get me wrong, if i wana jump in and start fraggin instantly, unreals meh game.

Gotta gotta get this game..

Now if they'll release a crysis demo. (i say demo eh, doh tell meh nuddn bout no beta)

On a side note, ut3 demo pretty fun, got the whole gears of war flare to it (since dey both run on d same engine) everythin bloomin for days...

Crysis official demo (not beta) hits the web on October 26th 2007. Mark that date down. Thats the date

WOI!!!! i've played the COD4 demo, it ROCKS, i've played the UT3 demo, it rocks, I expect the Crysis Demo to BLOW ME AWAY!!!

this game runs sweet, i am absolutely amazed by the textures and lighting for this game it is eye candylicious for a dx9 game......

A little disappointing, but not that surprising. Some FPSes don't even have a single-player story/campaign component (Battlefield, Unreal, Quake Wars).
I guess the focus this time around is on the multiplayer, which is from what I've played (Xbox multiplayer beta) is VERY robust. The persistent
ranking system and boatloads of perks/unlocks will give this game a lot of legs long after everyone blazes through the single-player.

The article asks a very interesting question though: "Would you rather play a shorter game that has a higher level of polish or a longer game that entertains you for a longer period of time?"

Me personally, I'm buying it for the multiplayer aspect. If all I wanted was the single-player, then I might have 'acquired' it instead.

Was planning to get it when it came out, would be nice if I could run with some local people. So when I you guys get on will join in the killin, I normally play BF2 but havent in a while well mainly because I have no pc to run it and also because people only getting me vex(spawn in and die immediately at every spawn point, have to spawn and start bunnyhopping hoping the guy will miss) when I play mostly spend my time dogfighting or bombing tiny cars and ants on the map.

I dunno nuh, this is a powerful line up. COD 4 knocked my socks off

But Gears of War So damn intriguing

And I supposed to finish bioshock by now, hell is BIOSHOCK

Medal of honor feeling like a FPS version of COH

I was so pissed when episode one finish that i now have the continuation and no time to play it.

Sim City Societies

Torrent obviously. Worldwide PC release is this Monday (12th Nov 2007).
I'm tempted to get it myself, but I shall resist the lure of acquirements until
Thursday. Hopefully my Collector's Edition will have arrived by then.
