Ipod sets fire to bloke's trousersThere'll be a hot time in the old town tonightBy Andrew Thomas: Monday, 08 October 2007, 1:02 PM MAKER OF ENTERTAINMENT GEAR, Apple, is investigating why an Ipod went 'woof' in an American bloke's trousers, setting them on fire.The cool fashion accessory was anything but as it burst into flames and threatened to remove airport worker Danny Williams' from the gene pool.Williams admits to being somewhat freaked out as he looked down to see flames reaching his chest but considers himself fortunate that security staff didn't mistake him for a terrorist and shoot him on the spot.Apple has promised to replace the hot fashion item, which uses Lithium batteries, but has yet to offer to buy the poor bloke a new pair of strides.
